holy shit awesome fucking review
I love my PS4, but still play my old Intellivision regularly. I remember hating this game when we got it (I wanted lock n chase). A few years ago I decided to give it another chance. It’s now one of my favorite games.
They play Wagner when you win? Are you the Germans??
How could i forget how awesome this game is? Time to bust out the intellivision.
I enjoyed this game very much in the 80's. It was my 2nd Intellivision game and I played the heck out of it! 🙂
You really need to try the AD&D games.
This and Sea Battle were two games I always played but had no idea what I was doing! LOL
Man, this is HUGELY advanced for a console game from the late 70s to early 80s, & that's what it makes it good like Star Control.
Games like this were the reason us Intellivision owners felt our machine was superior to the Atari back in the early 80's. This was a game that literally took hours to learn and weeks to master at a time when nearly every home video game was simplistic arcade-style fare (which I love too, don't get me wrong). It wasn't until getting a computer years later that I encountered more games with the depth of Sub Hunt, B-17 Bomber, and AD&D Cloudy Mountain among others.
I'm glad you mentioned seeing the depth charges while submerged, this blew my mind as a kid the first time I saw it. Thanks for another great review.
Game looks good but way to complicate for my simple mind. Hahah
