Star Wars the Old Republic has changed a lot since December 2011 when it was initially released. Now, 8 years later, is SWTOR a game worth playing? In this video, I attempt to answer that question by breaking down what makes up the endgame experience of SWTOR in 2020. I don’t just look at the game as an RPG but as an MMO. I hope you all enjoy the video and find it helpful! My goal is to help you make an informed decision by sharing my experience with the game!

love the game
Great video!!!, but with no add ons and the button lag from the hero engine and limited UI change and the more design more to single player I had to pack it up a few months after release. Not to mention the game is 9 years old and it's first raid is still broken (Soa) I couldn't in clear conscience sink more time into a game that will most likely be gone soon.
This game is nothing like the cinematic trailers and the graphics are embarrassingly bad.

3 min into the video and I got the answer I was looking for. Nice.
I have been nonstop playing for the past three-days (yes, I’m new), but I only have free-to-play. As a person who loves Star Wars but never got into games of this type, I love it. I’ve enjoyed it with my sister, random players, and even alone. The community is super nice about helping me get started, so if you’re new like me don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you don’t have this game and haven’t played it, I highly recommend it.
The only problem with this game is EA has their hands in it, and the stun stun stun stun stun die aspect is ignorant. Star wars galaxies would have still been alive if SOE had not panicked when wow came out

im having trouble recovering my account, if i could get it back i'd play again…
Well it messed my computer sssooo….had fun but i done
i heard something about they are considering adding another NA server. I personally think its because of this video, lol.
I wish I could get this game to work I downloaded basically 40 gb worth of data and every time it says it's corrupted or wont launch so annoying so rip this game. They need to get it to where you can download smaller segments like 3 giga bytes and be able to verify cache of data then another small segment instead of downloading everything all at once so then it's either uninstall the entire game or don't play it. Smaller segments makes more sense it's easier to handle and if there's corrupted data just reinstall the small segment but I'm not spending hours just downloading a massive game just to delete it and re do over and over until it works. I miss playing this game though.
This game is still an awesome mmo and is still verry well populated and far from dead. May the force be with you!
Id play it non stop if it was on Playstation xD but sadly that seems to never going to be happening, and there is no way im buying a new console to play a old game QuQ;
I miss being ganked until level synch killed that. I know that sounds fucked up but getting ganked by a level 50 was a cig break 🖕🖕😅
Im here mostly for the character creation
I'm sour that they took down Australian servers sooo early… I love pvp and the game provides some challanges but the lag is horrible. I just want something other then Wow hahaha
I want what Star Citizen wants to become, just without all that realism and fidelity crap and within the Star Wars Universe (+ in 3rd person).
I cant force myself even to end the second characters class story, the combat is so fucking boring dude, from the cinematics you would think it is amazing but in reality is more like the starwars kid, or larping, it doesn't feel real at all
its worth 1 playthrough with the expansions, nothing more nothing less, mainly because the combat sucks
Hi guys i played these game around 3 years, stoped recently. Its a nice game i found it out of nowhere and gave a shot with sith warriors and loved it. The most of the stories are very good, the flaspoints the operations, Its a bit poor compared to other mmos but its good to keep you around 1-2 years for sure. If you want you can play pve or have some chaotic fights on pvp. I suggest it speacialy if you have some friends to follow.i was on malgus server there are some good guilds to help you like Ancient dark guardians, Nighmare squad, Nefrenders black nova and others. You can play ranked for pvp (team solo) or operations on hardest modes for pve. Or you can do simple things like the stories heroics missions and flaspoints and some normal pvp , that depends on each palyer desires and capabilities. You can play solo or with small groups of 4, or operations 8-16 ppl or even 24 players for world bosses. Give it a try and kill some jedi.
Short answer: Yes. There are 8 (?) paths to play and each is well written; tons of interesting, funny, and sometimes dark, dialogue; and decisions to make that can drastically alter your character's story.
SWTOR is that girlfriend that keeps fucking up her chances… I’m a huge Star Wars fan, I like MMOs, I use to play this game religiously, I’d stay up night and day grinding… in game drama killed the game for me. Guild and the community… just bad
You didnt mention Datacron farming.
