For those who couldn't move the rig properly as he did in 2:58, just do what he did next, which is increasing the chain length to 2. It solved it for me.
Bones
It took me 3 hours to do it and yet I'm stuck at assigning gun parts to vertex groups. Tutorial is a bit too fast but still very good. Also I would love to see gun modelling tutorial. Keep up the good work 👍

when i select all mesh with L to vertex group and klick assing, only one mesh will select after i klick select on the group?!

Dude I had to pour water on my PC to cool it down after this guy went into overdrive on my PC
People probably know this by now, but there's an option in Edit Mode called Symmetrize, which duplicates selected bones and flips them on the designated axis. This way, you don't need to manually duplicate and mirror the bones you already have.
That went at the speed of light, thank god you can change the playback speed on youtube. Very informative thank you!!

When I separated the hand away 2:04 the hand is no longer connected to the tendons so when I got to the inverse kinematic step and I try pose the elbow bone it doesn't move the hand but when I grab the wrist bone it moves normally
