But in 400 X 50 case, why did it fill parent when u changed the scaleType to fitXY? Why didn't it respect the 400 width as provided in Override?

Is there a way to resize a Bitmap and store it as file ?
My issue is that i draw something in a canvas and then i want to store it but as a little thumbnail..
Anything i have tried makes my new Resized Bitmap very pixelated :/
Is it possible to load an existing Bitmap into an ImageView with Glide? Or only urls? Because I am trying to creat an camera app where I take a photo of an Camera Preview and then I want to put this photo inside an ImageView but the foto is stretched and not correctly scaled.
